As you can see, the kitchen is quite small, but deliberately so. After a hard day out on the fells, who wants to walk another two miles getting the meal ready?

But seriously, there is plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware for four as well as a good range of cooking utensils and pans etc. There is a fridge with small freezer compartment and a microwave as well as the normal toaster and kettle.

The kitchens were refurbished at Easter in 2002 with new ovens and hobs, and now include dishwashers.
