Fleetwith and Grassmoor are half of a block of four cottages, built alongside a courtyard. This photograph, taken at dusk, shows the courtyard area, with Fleetwith nearest the camera. They are built 'upside down' - the bedrooms being downstairs with the lounge upstairs to make the most of the views over the fells. They sleep four and are electrically centrally heated for all year round use.
The building opposite the entrances houses a 'utility room' with washing machine, tumble dryer and a freezer. This is also an ideal area for muddy boots or bikes. |
